Course Description

Every Teacher is a Reading Teacher. As more and more Filipino children grow up to be non-readers, there is an over-arching need to equip both pre-service and in-service teachers with practical step-by-step know how on how to assess, classify, and respond to the literacy needs of the K-12 learner. This online course aims to orient and train our teachers on how to set-up their own reading programs as remedial intervention or as an enhancement activity for their reading initiatives.

It will also include practical demonstration of different techniques in teaching reading either as a remedial intervention or as an enhancement activity for their reading initiatives.
